Introduction to the legal and ethical challenges of providing therapy : Consent, Confidentiality & Responsibility (Online Training Day)

Date: Wednesday 8th March 2023

Time 9:30am – 3:30pm

The ethics around our legal responsibility as counsellors is an area of being, or becoming a counsellor, which can be baffling or unclear. This is a refresher in how the legal and ethical challenges impact our work, and indeed where changes have occurred that we may not be aware of. Christian Davies-Trigg has provided this training on a regular basis at the Way Forward Centre and attendees have reported finding it a useful and informative day with lots to think about and take away to inform your practice. You will engage in group activities, discussions and debate throughout the day which will appeal to those who find experiential learning helpful. You will receive a CPD certificate after the event, which will be posted out to you.

You are welcome to attend if you are a qualified therapist looking to refresh your knowledge, or if you are a student counsellor on a recognised training course preparing for placement or nearing qualification.
